Overview

After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, under the call of Tan Kah Kee, the leader of overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia, the overseas Chinese formed a "Southern Overseas Chinese Technician Team" to work as drivers and maintenance workers on the Myanmar-Burma Highway to join the anti-Japanese national salvation movement.
