Oh good gracious, I really don't know what happened here. The concept is great. I've never been the type that hates on religion, unlike most atheists, I can see the historical value of it and how it lends itself to developing civilization, culture, all the things we take for granted... however, YES, I am down with the idea of religious extremists as the bad guys in a science fiction show. This wasn't really what I was expecting. It just didn't feel like a Ridley Scott offering to me. The first season, the only one I managed to sit through, seemed very drawn out, a little confused and pretty much void of any real depth. Or maybe I'm just bitter because I wanted aliens.
