Overview

The story takes place on a quiet peninsula away from Buenos Aires, where more than the first generation of Russian Old Believers live, preserving their language, faith and way of life. The main characters are real opposites: she is an Old Believer who lives by the rules of the community, and he is a policeman, an emigrant from Russia, who knows no mercy for criminals.
