Prime example of: 1. Useless English title. 2. Wrong marketing message. The original Japanese and Korean titles are **more accurate**. The English title «Goodbye Earth» sets the wrong expectations, which leads to disappointment from the audiences. Secondly, they marketed it as sci-fi and apocalyptic when it has nothing to do with those other than as a literary device to set the stage for the story. It is a life and social story, nothing sci-fi, nothing “let's try to save the Earth and show world unity”. They should've simply translated the original Japanese and Korean titles, whic…
