Biography
Neshan Der Haroutiounian is a Lebanese media personality of Armenian descent. He was born in Armenia. He graduated from Studio El Fan and won the gold medal in the category of program presenting in 1996. The death of his father, which occurred while Neshan was living in Dubai, deeply affected him emotionally as he was very attached to his father. His mother, named Bergehoyen, is a Syrian Armenian from Sweida. He has two siblings: an older sister, Sally, and a younger brother, Rafi. Since childhood, Neshan was passionate about learning and knowledge, and he is an avid reader. At the age of 18, he suffered a serious health issue that nearly cost him his life. He teaches media at the American University of Beirut and is involved in various humanitarian activities. Neshan holds a degree in Biology from the American University of Beirut, a CELTA certificate for teaching English to adults from the University of Cambridge, and a Master’s degree in the Philosophy of Communication from Switzerland. He is also known for his passion for languages and is fluent in Arabic, Armenian, English, French, Turkish, and Italian. He began his media career in 1993 with Zee Arabia, where he hosted several shows including a quiz show called "Seconds Only" and a talk show with Arab celebrities titled "Ramsha."
