Biography

Oliver Penna (born July 12, 2003) is a British filmmaker and cinematographer. He first became known for writing and directing the short film Prince of the Lilies (2026), a reinterpretation of the ancient Greek Minos myth. The film explores themes of grief, power, and moral decline through a restrained, performance-led approach that prioritises atmosphere, rhythm, and controlled composition, with structured set-pieces. He also worked as a director of photography on small independent productions, including Final Pill (2025).
