Curious George (2006)

> George is gone, and it's your fault Yeah... this is a masterpiece. Matthew O'Callaghan had not made many movies prior to this (aka he made 3 TV specials) but he came out with this masterpiece and absolutely killed it. All of the actors, writers, animators, the director, etc did so good on this film. The animation is so colorful and expressive like it's just so good. I kid you not this is the best film I've ever seen in my entire life. If you have Hulu, Peacock or the Disney+ and Hulu bundle, PLEASE check this out. It's extremely worth it.

With his museum on it’s knees, enthusiastic “Ted” promises his boss that he will don his bright hello hat and set off to deepest Africa to fetch a crowd-pleasing idol that will surely save the day. Despite the protestations of the owner’s son who wants to sell the site for a car park, he isn’t going to be thwarted. After a few “Indiana Jones” moments he obtains his heart’s desire - but it’s barely knee high to a grasshopper. On his way home, he discovers that that’s not all he is taking home as a brightly coloured monkey has also tagged along for the voyage. Quickly named “George” this critter…
