"June" (Jessica Henwick) travels to and from her restaurant workplace by bus, dreaming that one day she will be able to prepare the perfect dish. Unexpectedly, on one quite evening, a legendary food critic descends on the ill-prepared establishment and with the regular staff elsewhere, she has to quickly rustle up a dish that will dazzle their picky guest. Can she rise to the occasion?
