Oh dear, oh dear. Just as well they cast this as a comedy, it really wouldn't have legs in any other context. I get the whole female empowerment thing but lets be honest, domestic abuse can be deadly and its no laughing matter. The notion of beating an abuser into not being an abuser, is ironic in its absurdity. Any sane person, would put as much distance as they could from their abusing husband, not just for their sake but also their kids. Sticking around and becoming a "martial arts mamma" because the little one likes "punchy daddy", is pretty stupid. Which brings me to some of th…
