British rock band Renaissance is surely capable of getting their music across without a chunk of symphonic orchestra in their background. Featuring music by Michael Dunford, Jon Camp, and lyrics by Betty Thatcher, the anthemic, folky, and lithe singing of Annie Haslam is unmistakable; the imaginative, evocative words are brought to life with tasteful, dramatic music that makes you part of the story they are to tell.
