Project Taring (2021)

Overview

During the Dutch invasion of the archipelago in 1941, several KNIL postal posts in remote guerrilla areas began to run out of ammunition and exhausted from fighting unyielding guerrillas. To increase stamina and fatigue, a chemical weapons trial project was carried out for KNIL soldiers. This project is called the Hoektanden project or the TARING project
