This is an enjoyable, well-made thriller, even if it treads familiar ground. Two police officers — one principled, one far more questionable — find themselves trapped in a neighbourhood erupting into chaos after a death in police custody sparks violent unrest driven by racial tensions. As they fight to survive and make it to safety, the pressure steadily mounts, not only from the rioting streets around them but from the growing mistrust between the two men themselves.
