Teenage Girl: First Wheels is a definite homage and throwback to the movies of the 80s and 90s, such as License to Drive and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. But unlike those films, it's girl power all the way. This indie film features two very likable leads--band geeks who "borrow" a classic 1966 Mustang and take it for a spin. While they're out, they attract the attention of the cops, the school bully, and some love interests.
