We get a clue as to the mischief incoming here right from the start when a mother woodpecker decides to take a ten minute break from her nesting duties. This cartoon is only eight minutes long so she isn’t going to be back in time to save it from it’s perilous start to life! Indeed, it’s first action is to fall from it’s nest in the tree and end up assuming that “Jerry” is mum!
