Mr. Conductor's supply of magic gold dust, which allows him to travel between Shining Time and Thomas's island, is critically low. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to get more. Meanwhile, Thomas is fending off attacks by the nasty diesel engines. Getting more gold dust will require help from Mr. C's slacker cousin, his new friend Lily and her morose grandfather, plus the secret engine.

Never before has thier been a piece of Thomas media that felt more like something that no one asked for other than this movie. Almost everything about this movie is just horrible. The acting for the most part is just bad. The movie has nothing to do with Thomas or his friends, the story goes no where for more than half of the films runtime because thier is so much filler in this movie that was perly added in just to drag out the runtime and the movie even goes out of it's way to say that we shouldn't trust others because thier different than us.
