“A Reflection of Fear”

The Killer with a Mallet is a film about a killer who sneaks into a group of friend's basement and now they have to fend for their life. This film purposely has continuity errors to demonstrate how the characters and people struggle with fear. This is a film where every little detail, even ones you think are mistakes, matters. The Killer with a Mallet perfectly embodies fear in a way that captivates you.

The Killer with a Mallet is an exceptional film. The deeper meaning being fear is perfect and the way they show that is amazing. The way the people reacted to the “killer” although it may seem corny it is very real. There are people who react the exact same way to their fears- whatever they may be. I love how there’s little details in the movie that makes it better like how the “killer” is wearing a soccer jersey symbolizing how fear can be in the form of anything. I also love how you can see the “dead” characters in the frame after they have “died”, symbolizing that even if fear has “killed”…
