Shinsei Galverse was a retro nostalgic masterpiece! And it's free to watch on YouTube which is wild. It's short, but for an OVA, it did an amazing job at introducing the world and characters in a pretty short time frame and the end scene left me wanting to see more. The voice acting cast is incredible and they brought their A-game. In particular, I love D.D.'s journey and how she evolves and changes over the course of the episode. Come join the discord and you’ll see. The art style and characters are what kept me hooked — I adore the textured style reminiscent of sailor moon, Akira, Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell. I can’t believe this was produced independently. The use of emerging tech blended with t…
