Overview
The Fox and Crow have a band-act in a nightclub, but the Fox walks out on his partner when he gets the position of a symphony-orchestra conductor. The Fox becomes while his old partner is on skid row, cold and hungry. One night, the Crow appears backstage at the concert Hall and hands a magician's wand to the Fox as he goes onstage. Using the wand as a baton, everything that can go wrong goes wrong for the snooty maestro.

6.0"Lips", the fox, conducts a successful jazz band until he gets an offer of $50,000 to go and conduct the symphony orchestra. Like the proverbial bat out of hell, he has gone - abandoning his friend the crow whilst he - now called "Foxini" - reaps the rewards of his new-found celebrity. It turns out that the crow is a rather loyal friend to his former bandmate, but that isn't reciprocated as stardom has clearly gone to his head!
