5.0A railway line is being sabotaged and after one such incident an old engineer "Smokey" (J. Farrell MacDonald) - is dismissed. The profligate young son of the owner asks to be allowed to investigate the spate of incidents and soon discovers there are much more sinister goings on afoot. There are a lot of Hornby-style railway effects - especially around the disaster scenes; and the fisticuffs are verging on the comical.
